Joel (right) is the Assistant Director of Doctoral Programs at Talbot School of Theology and the author of Christ-Centered Spirituality. He is from Hawaii where he served as pastor of Hope Chapel Honolulu, faculty at Bible Institute of Hawaii, and campus director for Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at University of Hawaii. He and his wife, Amy, have been married for 25 years and have four amazing boys. Joel's heart for the church is to see it filled with Biblically-faithful teaching, spiritually-formed disciples, and an acute awareness of the presence of God in our midst.
Bryan (center left) and Jen (center right) Nece are long time disciples of Christ and have called Antioch Fullerton home for over six years, serving most of those years as Lifegroup Leaders. Together, they have four adult children, two married and living out of state and two college students living at home. Bryan works as an Administrative Officer at an environmental research agency, utilizing his gifts in oversight, finance, project management and strategic planning. His spiritual gift mix includes prophetic prayer, shepherding and discernment. Bryan has a passion for seeing men walk in emotional wholeness through the Lord’s grace. Jen holds teaching credentials and a masters in Special Education, and taught for several years before having a family. Through her own personal journey of healing and redemption, Jen discovered her passion for discipling and equipping women and seeing others grow in the freedom and abundance Jesus offers. Jen’s spiritual gifts include shepherding, teaching, wisdom and encouragement.
Bryan and Jen have a deep love for Antioch Fullerton, believing it is a place for all people to grow as authentic disciples of Christ. Their desire is to participate in the continual creation of healthy leaders who lead others into increasing wholeness and depth of faith.
I (back left) am married to Mel, and together we have three boys - Aiden, Evan, and Owen. Ever since we started attending Antioch Fullerton in 2016, God has lavished his love on our family over and over again through this community of believers. We are so grateful to be here.
A holy God became sin on my behalf so that I may become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). That truth humbles and amazes me. What I want for myself is what I want for Antioch Fullerton: 1) to more boldly share this incredible message to anyone who will listen, and 2) to have our lives continuously transformed by the good news of God’s grace.
And I want to do these things together.
Mark serves as the Lead Pastor at Antioch Community Church. After being saved in 2002, Mark immediately began helping people know and follow Jesus, and hasn’t stopped since. Mark and Crystal moved to California in 2014 with a vision to see people meet Jesus, experience life transformation through following Jesus, and be released to their purpose and calling. Family is one of the greatest joys of Mark and Crystal’s life, and they have three beautiful kids named Bella, Judah, and Eden.
